We offer expert evaluation and treatment for a wide range of endocrine and metabolic conditions, with a focus on patient-centered care grounded in both the science and art of medicine. Our goal is not only to improve and maintain your health, but also to empower you with the knowledge and tools needed to live your life to the fullest.
Dr. Bhalla is a second-generation physician who grew up in Port St. Lucie, Florida. He graduated as Salutatorian from Saint Edward’s School in Vero Beach, FL before earning his bachelor’s degree in Biology at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He later earned a master’s degree in Physiology and Biophysics at Georgetown University before receiving his Doctor of Medicine from the University of South Florida College of Medicine in 2013.
Dr. Bhalla completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Mayo Clinic Florida in 2016. Prior to fellowship, he practiced as a hospitalist for three years, gaining extensive experience caring for patients with complex medical conditions in the inpatient setting. He then completed fellowship training in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism in 2021 at the University of Colorado, regarded as one of the nation’s premier endocrinology training programs.
During fellowship, Dr. Bhalla trained under internationally renowned faculty, including presidents and guideline authors of the American Thyroid Association, American Diabetes Association, The Obesity Society, The Menopause Society, and the International Society of Endocrinology.
He is double Board Certified in Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism and Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is a member of the Endocrine Society and the American Association of Clinical Endocrinology.
Dr. Bhalla is the Founder and Owner of Bhalla Endocrinology, an independent private practice that he built from the ground up. He is dedicated to providing high-quality, thorough, and individualized endocrine care while practicing both the science and art of medicine.
Outside of work, his interests include tennis, fitness, and spending time outdoors with his Labrador Retriever. While attending MIT, he was also a member of the Division III varsity tennis team.
“I focus on delivering exceptional endocrine care with clarity and precision.”

Choosing the right endocrinologist is an important decision. At Bhalla Endocrinology, patients benefit from:
Personal attention — your concerns are listened to and addressed.
Clear communication — we explain your diagnosis and treatment options in plain language.
Compassionate care — visits are professional yet welcoming.
Consistency — you’ll always see the same doctor at each appointment, allowing for continuity and a stronger long-term patient-physician relationship.
Specialist expertise — care provided by a board-certified, fellowship-trained endocrinologist focused on the evaluation and treatment of endocrine, hormonal, and metabolic conditions.
Strong local reputation — trusted by patients and referring physicians throughout Palm Beach, Martin, St. Lucie, and Indian River counties, with over 200 five-star reviews.
Trustworthiness — receive genuine care from a credible, established physician.
Independent practice — not part of a corporate system, so you’re never just another number.
Individualized treatment plans — thoughtful and thorough care tailored to your medical history, goals, and specific situation rather than an algorithmic approach.
Modern diabetes technology expertise — extensive experience with continuous glucose monitors (CGMs) and insulin pump therapy.
Freedom of choice — you decide where to have lab work and imaging done. We’ll send orders to your preferred facility so your other physicians can view your lab results, and your imaging can be interpreted by radiologists.
Insurance participation — we participate in major insurance plans, keeping high-quality endocrine care more accessible.
Patient-physician relationship — because we value strong patient-physician relationships and thoughtful endocrine care, in-person visits are required for at least the initial consultation. Telehealth follow-up visits are available when clinically appropriate.
