Follow-Up Visit Reminders

Complete your labs ahead of time
Please ensure your labs are done before your follow-up appointment, allowing enough time for the results to be available and reviewed during your visit.

Late cancellations due to missing labs
Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice because required labs were not completed in time will result in a $50 rescheduling fee. Please cancel in advance to avoid this charge.

Confirm appointment, forms & arrival
Be sure to confirm your appointment, complete the required follow-up forms ahead of time, and plan to arrive a few minutes early. If you need extra assistance at check-in, please arrive earlier. Arriving late may shorten your visit or require rescheduling so we can stay on time for all patients.

Reviewing lab and imaging results
Results will be reviewed during your appointment. They are not reviewed over the phone or through the portal. If results are already available and you would like to discuss them sooner, please call the office to see if we can move up your follow-up appointment.

Prescription refills
Please contact your pharmacy first to check for available refills on chronic prescriptions before requesting a new prescription from our office.

Prior authorizations
Many medications may require prior authorization from your insurance company. This is a time-consuming administrative process imposed by insurance, and approval is determined by your insurance plan. Please allow adequate time for processing.

Insurance updates
If your insurance has changed since your last visit, please contact the office with the updated information in advance so we can verify coverage.
